Titans TV Series Has Found Its ‘Beast Boy’…And He’s Played A SuperHero Before

We previously talked about the casting of the Titans TV series here, but one pivotal character was missing: fan-favourite, Beast Boy. So, good news everyone, the role of Beast Boy (Garfield Logan) has finally been filled. Star of Marvel’s Big Hero 6, Ryan Potter, will be playing the green superhero alongside Anna Diop, Brenton Thwaites and Teagan Croft.

For some weird random reason, Beast Boy has always reminded me of X-Men’s Nightcrawler (Marvel) but that’s a discussion for another day.

So, Beast Boy in the comics is mostly always affiliated with the Teen Titans. He’s actually a pretty interesting character considering he can morph into literally any animal on the planet. He also has a pretty tragic backstory (not as tragic as most, but sad all the same).

The actor playing him is best known for voicing the lead character – Hiro Hamada in 2014’s Big Hero 6.

I’m just here waiting for a sequel sha.

Ryan Potter also played Mike Fukanaga on Disney XD’s Supah Ninjahs which co-starred Hollywood Legend, George Takei.

The Titans series is coming from the minds of Akiva Goldsman ?? who is also writing for Star Trek: Discovery and the duo, Greg Berlanti and Geoff Johns who are responsible for The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and Legends Of Tomorrow.  I just love this combination.

I’m pretty excited.

See how good Ryan as Beast Boy looks though:

Feel free to get hyped!!
